Mary Poppins Jr.

MGMS students are invited to participate in this year's school musical:  Mary Poppins Jr!  Performances will be Feb. 23-26 at MHS with auditions Oct. 20-21.

 

*This year we will be using the BAND app. The invite code to join BAND is 28B-BT8-40.

Audition Instructions
 

  1. Audition Form:  Print & fill out pages 1 & 2 then bring to the group audition.   

  2. Pay your $75 registration fee:  Venmo melinda-taylor-8 or bring cash/check written to Mtn Green Musicals to the group audition. Your registration fee helps provide costumes, sets, make up, lighting and sound as well as a cast t-shirt, party and video of the show for your student.

  3. Sign Up Online

    • Group Audition -- this is for everyone who wants to be in the show! Will take place Tuesday, Oct. 20  from 2:30-3:15 p.m. in the MGMS choir room. You will be taught a short song and dance segment as part of this audition. If you are NOT trying out for a lead role this is the only audition you need to attend. Wear comfy clothes & bring your Audition Form. 

    • Dance/Tap Audition will take place from 3:15-4:15 on Oct. 20 after the Group Audition. A short tap segment will be taught, dancers will then audition in small groups. *Students auditioning for Mary or Bert need to stay for the Dance Audition.

    • Lead Role Auditions -- Oct. 20 & 21. Auditions will be held in the MGMS choir room, please review the cast of characters below then prepare an audition song & monologue using the following materials:
