ABOUT

Mountain Green Musical Theater is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing musical theater in our schools and community. We partner with our local schools to produce quality productions that help build student's confidence, develop talents and create lasting friendships. We believe that the theater arts is a medium that can change lives and bring joy!

We also offer costume, prop and set rentals for all of our past productions. We love creating quality costumes for our shows and would love to see them enjoyed by students in other schools!

MGMT was founded by parents to provide a low-cost, high-quality musical theater experience for Mountain Green students without burdening our school administrators. We feel that school musicals provide a unique opportunity for kids to perform alongside their peers and in front of their community. Music can build bridges, and the theater arts is a medium that brings together dance, art, singing and drama to create a memorable experience like no other. We are excited to share our love of theater with the community of Mountain Green, Utah.

Jennifer Lance

We are so excited to welcome Jennifer Lance to our team! She joined us last year, assisting with 101 Dalmatians Kids at MGES, and did a fantastic job directing Jungle Book Kids this fall for MGES.

Jennifer’s passion for performing began in the dance studio. As a child, she danced with the Children’s Ballet Theatre in Salt Lake City. In high school, she continued to refine her technique in ballet, tap, and jazz at Janet Gray Studios, while also performing with the Olympus High School Drill Team.

She has always loved singing and grew up harmonizing with her sisters. She studied voice with Betty Jeanne Chipman before continuing her music education at Brigham Young University. She began her studies in the Music Dance Theatre Department and later transitioned to the Classical Music Department, graduating with a degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. While at BYU, she performed with several ensembles, including Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, and the Early Music Ensemble.

Jennifer has taught voice for over 25 years in California, Colorado, Idaho, and currently Utah. She performs with both the Davis Interfaith Choir and the Morgan Valley Chamber Singers. In addition, she sings regularly with a local women’s choir, The Heartbeats, sharing Christmas music in care centers throughout the holiday season.
