Volunteer Opportunities

We have several ways for you to volunteer! Here are the details:

​

• Costume help during dress rehearsals, performances. Be on hand to assist kids if costumes need to be pinned or fixed. Help move costumes from the stage to the cafeteria, then back to the stage.

• Move set & costumes March 4:  We have two trailers but need another truck & someone to drive it. Need help loading some heavy set pieces into trailers then unloading at the high school. 

• Stage Crew:  This is an essential element of producing a good show. We need 4 adult stage crew members each night (16 total) and need to train you all on March 4 during rehearsal. You will then be assigned to performance nights. 

• Backstage Help (Doors):  Simple job! Stand back by the doors and help open & close for students during the show so they don't slam. Can watch the show for free!

• MHS Clean-up:  Walk the halls, auditorium picking up trash. Check the bathrooms. Help sweep & make sure the high school is in excellent condition when students leave.

• Tickets:  Need one person to be committee chair for this & help manage ticket lists, cash box, venmo info, etc. Then need four people to take tickets each night.

• Concessions:  Need one or two people to committee chair this & help purchase concessions supplies, manage cash box, venmo into, etc. Then need three people to help with sales each night.

• Load set, costumes:  Need another truck & someone to drive it. Help load the show that night, return to Weber High School that week. 

• Wash, organize costumes:  Need volunteers to take costumes home Monday night, wash & fold, then return to MGMS.

• Cast Party:  Need one or two people to committee chair, coordinate with Fly High, purchase snacks & hang out with kids.
